Life is the Wilderness and it is the Love of Jesus that gets us through
1. God knows who we are (Identity)
a.Isaiah 43:
b. God is the one who created and formed us
2. God knows where we are (Situation)
a. The one who created and formed us knows our situation
3. God knows what we need
a. Love
i. His Love is Central – We are precious and honored in his sight; he loves us!
b. Presence
i. His Presence
ii.The Presence of others – Journeying the wilderness alone vs. with others
c. Redemption
i. God is redemptively present in our situation
Key Point: It is the Love of Jesus that gets us through
1. Remember the Former
a. Remember what God has done
b. Use it as an anchor
2. Look for the New
a. Forget the former – it is not the place to live
b. It both takes and increases faith to step into the new things
3. Proclaim His Praise
a. There is power in the proclaimed praise of God. It is a witness both to our hearts and to the world of what God has done and will continue to do.
Revelation 12:11
They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;

Today I will praise the Lord for what He has done.
This week I will trust God as he leads me into something new.
