We have been called to live with PURPOSE and on PURPOSE.
Last Sunday, in our 4th week of the Kingdom Building series, we talked around the idea that,
“Our presence
is meant to be a
present.”
From Matthew 14:13-21 - One key take-away was:
When Jesus does something through you, it changes you.
Being present allows you to become a present to others.
For the last 4 weeks Pastor Dave has been leading us in a discussion of Kingdom Building. We have been called to build the kingdom locally, globally, and invest in the next generation. As followers of Jesus we believe, as Jesus taught, that the Kingdom of God is here, now. We, as his followers have been called to build his kingdom. At Asbury Church we take that call literally. Therefore we challenged everyone to get involved in the Trunk-or-Treat event and be present in our community.
